Wallago micropogon (Thai: ปลาเค้าดำ) is a species of the genus Wallago, which is a type of catfish. This species was recently discovered [1] and is found only in the Mekong River drainage area, which includes southern Vietnam, northern Laos, and parts of Thailand [2]. It is a freshwater fish.
